Why Families Choose Solace

We believe care should feel natural, not clinical. Here are some of the things that set us apart.

Personalised Attention

Every resident and participant is known by name. Care plans are shaped around individual needs, preferences, and routines — not standardised templates.

Qualified, Caring Team

Our caregivers and nurses bring professional expertise paired with genuine warmth. Ongoing training ensures the team stays skilled and responsive.

Calm, Welcoming Spaces

Our home is designed around the daily rhythms of life — natural light, peaceful common areas, private rooms that feel personal, and garden paths for quiet walks.

Nutritious, Thoughtful Meals

Meals are prepared fresh daily by our in-house kitchen, with attention to dietary requirements, cultural preferences, and individual tastes.

Family-Friendly Visits

We welcome family visits without appointments. Your presence matters, and our space is always open to loved ones who wish to spend time together.

Transparent Communication

Families receive regular updates on their loved one's wellbeing. We keep lines of communication open and honest, so you always know how things are going.

Common Questions

We understand that choosing care for a loved one raises many questions. Here are answers to some of the things families often ask.

What does a typical day look like for residents?
Each day begins gently — a morning routine at each resident's own pace, followed by breakfast. The day includes light activities such as reading groups, garden walks, or gentle exercises. Afternoons are for rest, personal time, or visits from family. Meals are served at regular times, with in-between refreshments available. We keep the rhythm unhurried and respectful of each person's energy levels.
Can I visit my family member at any time?
Yes, family visits are warmly welcomed during our visiting hours from 9 am to 8 pm daily. There is no need to schedule an appointment. We simply ask that you check in at reception on arrival. We believe connection with family is an essential part of wellbeing.
What qualifications do your caregivers hold?
Our care team includes registered nurses and trained healthcare assistants, all of whom hold relevant certifications recognised in Singapore. Staff undergo regular professional development, including training in elder care best practices, first aid, and dementia awareness. We also maintain a thoughtful ratio of caregivers to residents to ensure attentive support.
How do I arrange a Comfort Care Stay for a short period?
You can reach us by phone or through the contact form on this page. We will arrange an initial conversation to understand the situation, followed by a visit to our home if you wish. Comfort Care Stays can begin within a few days of confirmation, depending on availability. There is no long-term commitment — the stay is shaped around your family's needs.
Are meals adapted to dietary or cultural needs?
Absolutely. Our kitchen prepares meals with careful attention to dietary requirements, including diabetic-friendly, low-sodium, halal, and vegetarian options. We also take personal preferences into account — if a resident has a favourite dish, we do our best to include it. Meals are an important part of daily comfort, and we treat them accordingly.
What does the Mindfulness & Wellbeing Programme involve?
The programme runs three mornings per week and includes guided breathing exercises, gentle chair-based yoga, mindful walking in our garden, and reflective journaling. Each session is led by a trained facilitator and is open to participants of all physical abilities. Light breakfast and mid-morning refreshments are provided. No prior experience with mindfulness is needed.
How are fees structured, and is there financial assistance?
Our fees are straightforward with no hidden charges. Residential Living is priced at SGD 2,450 per month, Comfort Care Stays at SGD 900 per week, and the Mindfulness Programme at SGD 360 per month. We can assist with the application process for subsidies available through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and relevant government schemes. Please contact us for a detailed conversation about options.
